About Me.

I’ve been managing private Islands in the Bahama Islands from 2001. For the past 22 years it has ranged between two cruise ship destinations and a Marina &resort. Prior to these, as a certified diesel engineer, I owned & operated a Marine technical repair shop, which represented 9 Diesel Engine & Marine/Land Generator dealer lines, from 1989 for 12 years.

My technical, construction & management background has allowed me to excel in operating top-rated Private Islands, achieving many accolades, including ‘Best private Island’ consecutively for 20 years. I designed & placed into operation many quality tours, built numerous guest amenities & oversaw countless guest events. I was also nominated for two Bahamas Tourism Cacique Awards.  Along side captaining many vessel deliveries in the Bahamas-Florida-US-Virgin Islands-Cuba region, I participated in many other sea related operations such as project managing new construction of a few commercial passenger vessels in the US, which were customized for Bahamian operations, numerous re-powers & dry dock refurbishes both at home & in the US. Sat on the board of the Bahamas Marina Association, Agritourism & the Cruise committee.​ My time in tourism saw me navigating through the logistics of acquiring goods & supplies, tropical weather, storms & hurricanes, Bahamian staff, vendors, Government relations & satisfying our vacationing clients’ needs.​My passion lies in the sensitivity of protecting the environment & minimalizing our carbon footprint, with proper waste management, recycling & alternate energy, whilst providing a memorable experience for our guests.  In 2020 I orchestrated & managed the installation of the largest, solar plant in the Bahamas, boosting an 835kw array with 2mw of batteries.  I’ve been fortunate to have been an elected Ex-Co member of the Bahamas National Trust, for the past 5 years, which protects 33 National parks in the Bahama Archipelago, including a particularly special spot, which is the first ‘no take’ marine preserve in the world. ​Being a Bahamian class-A Captain & growing up diving & commercial fishing throughout the Islands has impassioned my drive for harvesting sustainable fishing products, such as sponging & stone crabbing, both of which replenish themselves for future harvesting. On the other side, in removing the plastics that wash ashore & coming up with multiple best sustainable practices that work successfully here in the Islands, we have created programs that can easily be adopted by likeminded community, businesses & corporate investors alike.​ Our home, is off-grid, with both electricity & water. Our electric iscomingfrom Solar & we have a rain water cistern. My wife of 37yrs & I currently farm local fruits, herbs & vegetables at home & from our farm off property.​ Launching 3-Seas Global Ltd allows me a platform to lend my first-hand experience, training & knowledge to those that would like to execute some of the best sustainable solutions & property management solutions for clients, that are choosing to invest in our beautiful Bahama Islands.​
